Cheng Yaojin Explores the Cavern咬金探地穴
Halfway up the ridge, the sun sets behind the western hills;
steep cliffs and crags are not yet safe.
Look up to heaven for protection;
you are still in a time of peace.

Cheng Yaojin Explores the Cavern
When a bottomless hole opened in the drill ground, lots were drawn to decide who would go down. Cheng Yaojin drew the short one. Lowered on a rope, he found a hidden palace with a dragon robe and jade belt, came up wearing them, and was made a bandit king. His reign lasted three years.
